Centre for Environmental Justice (CEJ), an environmental organization that works to promote environmental justice for the people and the environment, through sound ecologically sustainable community activities. CEJ approached SIPL to formulate their Strategic Plan for the three years beginning 2023.

With the rapid changes in Sri Lanka’s political, legal, social, technological, economic and environment context, it was essential that CEJ’s Strategic Plan was formulated in order to align better to the changing context. CEJ believed that it is vital to anticipate positive and negative factors that are likely to affect the program and the organisation.

At the end of the Strategic Planning process, CEJ prioritised five thematic areas for them to focus on during the next three years: Ecological Justice, Social Justice, Political and regulatory Justice, Economic Justice and Climate Justice.
